APPLE laptop battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles. So it will perfom well for 1.5-2 years with normal using. The battery life before the next charging mainly depend on the configuration (processor, memory, hard disc, etc.), types of running programs and display brightness.
How to extend APPLE battery life
